Why a group practice matters
Group meditation has a quietly profound effect. As a small community of stillness we hope to emanate that peace into the wider world; we also use the held container to dive more deeply into our own inner work than we usually manage alone.
After years of online sittings, gathering in person at the lodge — close to Aughrim, Tinahealy, Woodenbridge and Avoca — has been a real gift. No previous experience is required.
What the research says
Regular meditation practice is consistently linked to lower cortisol, lower blood pressure, reduced symptoms of anxiety and depression, improved focus and a stronger sense of overall wellbeing — benefits that grow over weeks and months rather than minutes.
